Sesame Workshop(TM) is a nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street(TM) that is proud to offer support to help military families through Talk, Listen, Connect(TM). They provide support to preschoolers and families as they face challenging transitions such as deployments, homecomings, and changes such as combat related injuries. This multimedia, bilingual program helps young children (between ages two to five years old) through the difficult transitions that come with life in the military.
Sesame Workshop(TM) sought out the advice of experts to develop the Talk, Listen, Connect(TM) program. The outreach team also spent countless hours meeting with military families to gain an accurate picture of the challenges they face and how the Sesame Workshop(TM) could provide programs to assist children in being able to talk about their feelings in a safe and positive way during these difficult times.
